My Story
Foreign languages were part of my life ever since I was a young child. When I watched TV series, I remember writing down words in a foreign language, that I did not know. Later, I began to develop this passion on a more professional level when I started studying translation and interpreting at the university. My translation and interpreting career started during my studies when I worked as an in-house translator.
Later, I decided to try freelancing. I was extending my specialisation, further developing my knowledge and became a member of the Slovak Association of Translators and Interpreters (SAPT). During this period, while working for various clients (small businesses as well as state institutions), I gained a lot of experience. I have interpreted at various events, from production staff training, through business meetings, to official government ministers’ conferences.
Soon after, I decided to move even further. I have passed my “sworn” translator exams and got registered on the List of Experts, Interpreters and Translators managed by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak republic.
